To work as a Generator Mechanic in Germany
General Description
This position involves working at a facility that receives Generators that have been worn out during the course of deployment overseas and re-conditions them back to working condition ready for re-deployment.
The position involves:
- Working with Digital Volt Meters
- Re-wiring of the looms
- Carying out high precision soldering
- Component replacement and repair
- High Voltage work when required
Duration of Contract
Our contracts are generally of a six months nature, this however can be either shorter or longer due to the nature of our customers requirements.
Accommodation and food
Although these will be at your expense, we have a welfare officer in Germany that will find your accommodation on your behalf, and provide assistance in finding other necessities whilst overseas.
How you will be paid
Although your contract will state your hourly wage in Dollars, you will actually be paid weekly in sterling into a British bank account. The exchange rate used is reviewed by the M&E Group on a regular basis.
Tax and national Insurance
As an overseas worker you will receive a Tax and NI dispensation, this however varies between each contract and would be discussed with you by the recruitment department.
